Dear District 7120 Rotarians,
We are at a critical point in the succession of the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. The November 1 Deadline Is Approaching. We are now just one month away from the November 1 deadline for clubs to submit their commitment paperwork to host a student for the 2027–2028 Rotary Youth Exchange year. This is an important moment for our district. We need clubs to commit to hosting, or we will not have an exchange program. We have not heard from a single club yet on their commitment to host. We want to help ease any thoughts. Join us for a casual, informational webinar hosted by the Rotary Youth Exchange District 7120 Chairs! This will be an opportunity to ask questions, hear more about the program, and learn what hosting a Youth Exchange student can mean for your club, your members, and your community. No question is too basic, and you do not need to have made a commitment to attend. We highly encourage your President, a YEO, or anyone in your club interested in youth services to attend to learn more about the program. Youth Exchange is so much more than a student spending a year in another country. It is an opportunity to build lifelong relationships across cultures, develop understanding, and create connections that can become a foundation for peacebuilding. It is also one of the most powerful ways we have to introduce young people to Rotary and the values of service, friendship, leadership, and international understanding. We need Youth Exchange now more than ever. And we need our clubs to make it possible. Whether your club has hosted before, is considering hosting for the first time, or simply wants to understand what is involved, please join us and bring your questions.
