Scholarship & Awards Committee

The Scholarships Committee is responsible for planning, facilitating, and determining the recipients of annual scholarship awards, including financial support for local youth to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference. The Committee develops scholarship applications and collaborates with PYA (and/or non-profit partnership organization) staff to seek applicants for the scholarships. Committee members review applications and determine the recipients of scholarship awards.The Committee collaborates with the RYLA Rotary leader to send application materials to PYA in order to identify applicants to attend the annual RYLA conference. Paul Harris Award Nominations. Collect Paul Harris Award nominations and establish deadlines for same. Review and select 3 candidates to submit to the club for a vote. Coordinate award and presentation ceremonies.
